Hello and welcome! I’m J. ZaiB, the passionate home cook, food photographer, and creator behind Viral Food Hacks. I’m so glad you’re here.
My Story: From Frustrated Cook to Food Hacker
My journey into food blogging started from a simple, relatable frustration. I would spend hours watching amazing food videos online, getting excited to try a new recipe, only to find the instructions confusing or the results disappointing. I often felt that the best recipes were a well-kept secret of professional chefs.
I knew there had to be an easier way. So, I started my own personal quest in my kitchen. I began experimenting, learning from my mistakes, and discovering the simple “hacks” that could transform a difficult recipe into something any home cook could master. This blog, Viral Food Hacks, is the result of that journey.
My Food Philosophy
I believe that delicious food should be accessible to everyone. You don’t need to be a professional chef or have a kitchen full of expensive equipment to create amazing meals. My philosophy is built on three simple ideas:
- Find the “Hack”: Every complex recipe has a shortcut or a secret that makes it easy. My mission is to find it and share it with you.
- Keep it Simple: I focus on creating recipes with clear, step-by-step instructions that are easy to follow.
- Always Have Fun: Cooking should be a creative and joyful process, not a stressful chore.
The Gear I Use
I often get asked about my photography equipment. While I believe lighting and composition are most important, here is the gear I currently use:
- Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark III
- Lenses: 50mm f/1.2L, 85mm f/1.2L, and the 24-70mm f/2.8L
- Editing Software: Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop
- For Social Media: My trusty iPhone X with apps like VSCO and Snapseed.
